Born in Albion, Ralph received his bachelor’s degree at Ferris State University, and was a member of the first Community Education graduating class at Ferris. He went on to earn his master’s degree at Michigan State University, and has been in community education for 35 years, and a MACAE member for 28 years. It’s “people helping people to better their lives” that keeps Ralph going from day to day.
As a member of MACAE’s board this year, Ralph would like to “keep community education alive in the State of Michigan,” and with help from the board, his goals are to “keep section 107 funding and adjust the Michigan Merit Curriculum to help alternative students graduate.” |
