POSITION: ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION TEACHER – ENGLISH

BUILDING: Thompson Community Center

EFFECTIVE: 2008-2009 School Year
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 2:24 pm

SALARY: Based on Alternative Education Contract

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current secondary teaching (7– 8 English Certification)
2. Experience with teaching middle school students in a multiple level classroom.
3. Experience teaching in alternative education or at-risk programs.

DUTIES:
1. Conduct individualized and group instruction in classroom setting.
2. Prepare lesson plans as required by state guidelines.
Create and maintain record keeping according to state and district guidelines.
