The Michigan Head Start Association is a 20-year-old statewide membership organization dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for all Head Start children, families and programs to succeed. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and ability to be a respected leader in early childhood education and care, direct and implement advocacy and public policy activities, manage member services, and will possess a thorough understanding of cultural competency and have proven experience working with nonprofit boards, supervising personnel, fiscal management, strategic planning and fundraising.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred and 5 years non-profit administrative experience.

Knowledge of Head Start and the broader early childhood education and care field required.
